God vs. The Rampant Fire

Have you ever been in the verge of losing everything you own? Your heart beats fasts and you can do nothing but pray that everything will be spared. Seeing the raging fire in front of you, a fire that could burn everything down in a blink of an eye, it is a tragedy.

In movies I saw tanks blew violently that the pieces disperse in all directions. I thought it would happen any minute when the fire started. We poured water on it but the fire grew bigger. Then I remembered water has oxygen. Oh God, I didn’t know what to do. I went to a room to be safe if ever the tank will blow. There I prayed, “Lord, put out the fire. Keep us safe.” From the room I heard someone shouting, “Keep away! It may blow any minute.” My heart beats faster and I felt fear, an overwhelming fear. Fear of losing everything; my clothes, my computer, books, toys, my home, and everything my mom provided for our comfort. I continued praying to Him, not forgetting that “He saves!” Indeed! He saves! While I was praying for salvation, I heard someone said that it’s under control. The fire is out.

God really laid His hands on us that day. It’s like He placed His hand over the fire so that it would not burn anything at all. The fire lasted long enough that it could turn our house into ashes. But miraculously, there’s not a single damage but the peace in our neighborhood and the siesta of the firemen.^_^ Nothing was burnt but the paint in that wall near the tank. After what happened, all I can say is “we are blessed”.

God has plans for us. He loves us. He saves.

But God has plans for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us a hope and a future (Jer. 29:11).

kkk for mah testimony...

I'm easy going person...I mean i can go wherever I wants 2 go...Sometimes I'm walking in the wrong path...I even go to Disco...Sometimes i disObeyed mah parentz...I ddnt go to chruch regularly...I pray sometimes only when I'm sick, when I ask something to Him, when I'm in troubles and in mah hard times...I always ask ask ask to Him not even say thank you Lord for this blessings...that'z me before....

but now, Am working with Born Again Christian people...They molded me as a better person in Christ...I've attended prayer meeting (for 21 nights 7pm - 9pm), Daily Devotion (reading Bibles and singing with Hymnals...before am using SOng Hits ahahaha...) and we have Praise and Worship (you will sing for the Lord)....And through this mah Spiritual Life changed a lot...

God is really good to me...His working unto mah life...I can say thAnk you Lord for all your kindness to me...

and to ALL....

SUNDAY is Lord's Day...
Don't forget to go to church...

we had our recollection yesterday at tagaytay. it was a blast! i praised god with some of my classmates who are non-catholics. i was inspired and grateful to god for hearing their testimonies. i feel blessed when dom dunstan [benedictine monk] let us pray for our personal prayer. and i find myself weeping before them. i so love my savior. no words could ever describe how i felt for him. he's so sweet!

that's nice ple.. ako lately lang i thought i miss the world that i used to live, i tried to get back and realized that it's making my heart so heavy to live with my past. Jesus waited for me to continue my journey with Him, he never left me.. I thank God for giving the people that i need in times of my struggle. God was never late, he's always on time..

these past 8 days, my patience, obedience and trust to God were greatly tested. I was really hoping that I'll be able to apply for the NLE exam last tuesday or earlier than that day. It turned out that there were some lapses about my paper. Yung mga late na natapos magcomply sa lacking cases nauna pa bumalik papers nila. So parang nabaliwala ung effort ko na early magsubmit ng requirements. I felt so left behind and really really sad. I was starting to have moderate anxiety,too. It was one hell of a crazy week! I prayed and prayed and endlessly hoping. I actually still have enough time for the filing but I just don't want to procrastinate this time.

The moment that I was worrying, I realized that I'm not trusting God fully. The Holy Spirit always reminded me of passages like God won't forsake me and leave me and that God won't give me something I cannot surpass. The passages really gave me hope! PRAYER POWER!
